Elani is a Kenyan band ,a musical light house trio made up of : Bryan Chweya (Twitter and Instagram:@bryanchweya) , Maureen Kunga (Twitter and Instagram: @maureenkunga) and Wambui Ngugi (Twitter and Instagram: @wambizy)

The band has gone ahead to perform at various venues in and around Nairobi and they released their debut album, “Barua ya Dunia” on the 6th of December 2013

Them teamed up with Jaguar, hit maker of Going Nowhere and Matapeli, on this track titled SIRUDI, talking about gender based violence.

“38.2% of women and 21% of men experience physical violence within their relationships, according to a 2015 Report by the National Crime Research Centre.

Those we share our hearts with, those in whom we trust may sometimes turn to be oppressors and abusers from whom we must flee. With the increase in Gender Based Violence within the country it is time to say #EnoughIsEnough.”
